A lash lift is like a perm for your lashes - Like old-school perms from the '80s, lash lifts set the shape of your natural lashes using a chemical solution. A lift is essentially what your lash would be doing with a really good mechanical curler, so giving a nice shape upward and a realistic curl.

The only thing that we recommend is if you want a more dramatic result, then going on something like a lash serum to grow your lashes as long as possible is a great option, but we can work with any lash type. This service works best for someone who already naturally has a decent length to the natural lashes.

You can customize your results.

The first step during a session is to consult with your lash artist, who will ask you questions about your goals and style (for example, whether or not you wear mascara every day, like lashes high upwards to your eyebrows or more fanned out, etc.) Based on your answers, your technician will pick a curl size for your eye shape.

Lash lifts last four to six weeks

We usually recommend our clients come in at the six-week mark just for a redo. What happens is all the hairs have now been shaped to be lifted and as they shed naturally, a straight one will grow in behind it. Some people need them sooner, some need them longer it just depends on the lash cycle.

Lash Lift + Tint FAQ

What is the lash lift process?

  1. Your lashes are glued down to a silicone shield.

  2. The lifting lotion is applied to the root of the lashes & left on for seven minutes. The lifting lotion acts as a softener that's going in and softening the bond of your hair so that it's moldable

  3. A  setting solution is applied and also processes for seven minutes. This step hardens everything back up and restructures the bond and makes them hard again, essentially locking in the shape.

  4. (OPTIONAL- only including in lash lift + tint package) a colored dye is applied to the upper and lower lashes to enhance and darken the natural lashes to make them appear fuller and longer.

Will I have a reaction?

Very few people have a reaction to the lotion but that doesn’t mean you won’t be one of them. What one person reacts to, another is fine with. This is why you can opt to have a patch test 24-48 hours beforehand. A patch test is quick and simple. It consists of placing 3 individual drops of setting lotion, Lift Lotion, and adhesive behind the ear for 10 minutes. It is then removed to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching, or inflammation for example.

WHY CAN’T I GET MY EYELASHES WET AFTER A LASH LIFT?

It’s best to avoid any type of moisture to your lashes for at least 24 hours following your lash treatment. It’s best to avoid any type of moisture to your lashes for at least 24 hours following your lash treatment. This is because in the immediate hours after the lift, the lashes are returning to a normal PH level. Water, mascara, etc. can weigh down the lashes and compromise the lift that was set via the chemical change from your treatment. Think of it as being similar to getting your hair done at the salon. You wouldn’t want your hair to get rained on after leaving the salon as it would cause the hair to go flat - water would have similar effects to your newly lifted eyelashes.
